Description
I used neutral colors that evoke the distant past of that catastrophe; the abandoned city is slowly crumbling. Little by little, the Ferris wheel, once pure fun and joy, is now only a metal frame.
In this desolate landscape, only nature, which continues to grow, and a few birds that fly through that boundless sky, give us hope.
This work serves as a reminder that power is not lasting, that we have no control over our creations, and that the only one who survives and heals is Mother Nature.
This work, though it may seem somewhat sad and barbaric, is simply my cry of rebellion against men and their hands, against the control of one over another; my cry to remind everyone how ephemeral life can be.
This work does not present the brown and beige tones of a desolate landscape, yet one full of life. Its self-image does. Being aggressive provokes a thought to meditate for a moment; it will be an ideal print to keep near that armchair where you sit to read and grow, and you yourself can grow this print by imagining the inner history of that place
